Notes on Self Soothing:

1. Rub your feet with oil

2. Find somewhere you can sit still. Somewhere within yourself

3. Think about how many years have passed. What do you remember?

4. Forgive. Everyone you can think of

5. Drink tea, or whatever you want to drink

6. Be proud of all the things you’ve bought in your room

7. Tell yourself thank you and mean it

8. Ask God a hard question

9. Brace Him if you are not ready for the answer

10. Give yourself at least an hour

11. Don’t answer when somebody calls

12. Ask for what you want

13. Then ask why you do not believe it is coming

14. Don’t move around. Try to sit still

15. Watch a candle flicker. Ponder fire. What the f*ck are the four elements?

16. Do not, under any circumstances, look at your phone (Or anything for that matter, except maybe a piece of paper)

17. Remember that the people before us did this, under millions of stars, and did not know what it meant to be bored

18. What do you need from yourself?

19. Only you can give it. Go give it
